Wotofo Manik Mini Review – Just Love it

Spread the love

The Maink Mini by Wotofo was sent from WOTOFO directly for the purpose of review, special thanks Antonio for the support!

Previously we have reviewed the Manik 80W kit, now it comes the Manik Mini 30W pod system. The Manik Mini is powered by built-in 1000mAh battery with max 30W output. The 3.5ml pod is refillable but not coil changeable. And there are 2 different resistances, both are 0.6ohm, which is similar with that of Nexmini by OFRF. Let’s see how it vapes in this Manik Mini review.

  • Size: 92mm × 28mm × 16mm

Design & Quality

The whole device measures 92 x 28 x 16mm, weighs 64g! Powered by a 1000mAh battery with max 30w output and is made of zinc alloy.

The first thing that grabs your attention is that it’s really well made and sexy, the combination of zinc alloy and leather is good, after 4 weeks of daily use, it still looks as good as new – it’s up there with the Luxe PM40 when it comes to build quality and sexiness. Also it is smaller and lighter than your Luxe PM40.

It feels super good at hands, the size is small, weight is light, the leather is nice. There is a small button and OLED screen at the side. One button design is nice and easy to operate.

The Device

As mentioned previously, the device comes with a 1000mAh built-in battery with max 30W output. The battery is able to support whole day vaping! I always charge it before bedding. And it also supports pass through, so you can vape it while charging. It may need 60 minutes to get it fully charged.

The screen is located on the side of the Manik Mini. It’s small but clear and displays a puff counter, your coil resistance, wattage, voltage, and a battery life indicator with percentage. The other side of the Manik Mini has a black panel that looks like it might house a screen but it doesn’t. This was done purely to give the Manik Mini a symmetrical look.

The pod attaches magnetically and sits snugly when attached. There’s no wiggling or movement with the pod inserted. On the sides of the Manik Mini there are two airflow slits that draw air into the pod when you draw. A noteworthy feature of the Manik Mini is that the pod connection area is water-proof. So even if ejuice or condensation builds up under the pod, there’s no risk of it seeping into the electronics and frying the device.

Operation is super easy with the one button design, please note the button is not for firing, the device is auto-draw design.

  • 5 clicks to turn it on/off
  • 3 clicks to change the output wattage. The number will flash after 3 clicks, then increase the power with each click.
  • Set the wattage to the recommended range, draw it to enjoy vaping.

The Pods

The Manik Mini comes with two pods:

  • 1 x 0.6Ω Parallel coil pod (18-22W)
  • 1 x 0.6Ω nexMESH coil pod (15-18W)

Each pod will hold 3ml of ejuice and are side-filled. The port is plugged by a decent rubber stopper and the fill hole is large enough to comfortably fit bottle nozzles. But because of the side fill port you have to remove the pods in order to fill them. The pods are darkly tinted which makes it difficult to see your remaining ejuice, anyway I dont care about it.

The air intake hole located at the bottom of the pod, unfortunately, the airflow is not adjustable.

Performance

Well, after over 3 weeks of test, both pods delivered nice tight MTL vaping experience and the vapor production is decent huge. While personally I love the Nexmesh coil pod more, as it offers a gental throut hit.

0.6Ω Parallel coil pod (18-22W) delivers the best performance at 20W for me, the pod lasts for 5 refills before I noticed a clear flavor drop.

0.6Ω nexMESH coil pod (15-18W) delivers the best performance at 18W for me, the pod lasts for 6 refills before I noticed a clear flavor drop.

Summary

The Manik Mini pod is a pretty well rounded device with good MTL vaping experience. The 1000mAh battery means it tends to last me all day with maybe one refill but as an aside it also supports pass-through charging so you can still vape on it while you’re topping up the battery. Taste wise I love the nexMesh coils more, but it’d be hard to go wrong with either. Build quality of the device is solid with leather and polished metal design. Super pocket-friendly and discreet this lil guy would be a decent option for most mtl vapers!
