Deck & Building

The Quad Core Fused Clapton pre-built coils came with the RDA is pretty good to use, ready to go.
Before build the coils on the deck, lets cut the coils with the coil trimming tool in the package. Officially Wotofo recommended 7mm.
The postless deck is very easy to build, just unscrew the screw drivers and put your coils on, you can do it in 30 seconds.
What’s more, they came with the Agleted organic cotton, easy to wick.

Airflow

There are 2 rows of airholes, 12 airholes in total at the side of the deck. You can adjust your desired airflow by rolling the top cap: all open for max vapor production, open 4 at each side for middle airflow, open 2 and a half at each side for flavor and you can also close all. Personally I will recommend you to open 4 at each side, both flavor & vapor production are very good. The problem here we find is that you cannot open 2 airholes at each side, but I believe many RDA users will not like tight airflow.

Performance

Honestly I love the shape of the original Recurve RDA, but to make dual coils in 24mm deck, it is acceptable for the loss of curvy looks. The honeycomb air slots are a bit smaller or the same as the original Recurve (sorry I do not have the original Recurve at hand, so I just match them from the pictures.) , but the space between the slots is wider than the original.

I have try different airflow configurations, check it out:

A. All air slots open – With this configuration, you will get the best vapor production, but will lose some flavor. I love the smooth airflow. Overall I will rate it 8.5.

B. Open 4 slots at each side – this is my best configuration, the vapor production did not lose too much while the flavor is much better. Of course it is 10 point!

C. Open 2 and a half at each side – honestly it is not that bad for vapor production, the airflow is a bit tight. I will give it 7 points.

D. All slots closed – Do not recommend this. You can try it out by youself.

Overall, the Recurve Dual RDA is one of the best 24mm dual coil RDA in the market. I love the easy build deck, deep juice well, the vapor production and flavor control. If you have used the original Recurve RDA, you cannot miss the Recurve Dual; if you did not, its time to stock up the new Recurve Dual.
