Horizon Falcon II Tank Review

Spread the love

The Falcon II subohm tank by Horizon is new member of the Falcon series. It was sent to me for the purpose of review from HealthCabin. The Falcon series is a great success, including Falcon, Falcon resin, Falcon King. For the new Falcon II, I believe the main change is the new sector mesh coil. Lets see how it vapes in this review.

Design & Quality

Visually, the Falcon II looks very similar to Falcon King, shorter in diameter and height. Building quality is excellent. The threading is smooth and the machining is clean.

Unlike the Falcon King’s push-button top cap, the Falcon II applied slide-to-fill. Slide to fill? I know you may worry it will open and leaking in your pocket. But after using it for 20 days, I am happy with it, that case never happened.

The filling port is large and fits all types of ejuice bottles, big or small, plastic or glass. Like other similar tanks, fill it slowly!

It’s a standard 810 resin drip tip on the Falcon II. The resin color matches the tank body, looks really good.

The Falcon II came with a 5.5ml bubble glass and a 3.5ml straight glass. Personally, I will use the bubble glass, as it looks more beautiful and accepts more juice than the straight glass.

The Coil

There are 2 coils came with the tank, both coil are the new Sector mesh coil, 0.16ohm, best for 70-75W. Unfortunately, this is the only coil available for the Falcon II, other coils are not compatible.

Horizon Falcon II Tank

Sector mesh coil, I dont think it is a new staff, as it is very similar to the OFRF NexMesh coils, which is the first conical mesh coil in the market. Conical mesh coils deliver a richer thicker vapor to the drip tip resulting in a massive burst of flavor with every vape.

Performance

In this review, I used the 70% VG juice Cuttwood Mega Melons at 70W. I am very happy with the overall performance. The cloud is not a joke, the whole room got clouded after 3 puffs; while the flavor, they keep the same or even a bit better than that of the Falcon King.

Mesh coil, you know that it is a juice monster. I can vape 2 refills a day easily, that is around 10ml a day, wow.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Good quality
  • Nice flavor
  • Huge vapor
  • No leaking
  • Big capacity

Cons:

  • Only 1 coil
  • Coil is not interchangeable with other Falcon tanks
  • Juice monster

Summary

The Falcon II is a superb tank and the flavor is excellent. It’s just as good as the Falcon King if not better. The sector mesh coils deliver massive flavor and clouds without wicking issues or leaking.  I would recommend this tank.
