Novo 2 VS Novo

The original Novo has catched the market out of its ultra portable size, good flavor and stable performance, but the biggest con on Novo is the small battery capacity, which is hard to suppy a wholeday vaping. So we can see the main upgrade or difference is the battery capacity. They upgraded it from 450mAh to 800mAh while the whole kit size is almost the same. Of course big battery capacity enables it to provide bigger wattage output.

They also released 3 new pods, which are also compatible with the original Novo, and the old Novo pods are also compatible with the new Novo 2. That is a good news for Novo vapers, easy to switch to Novo 2, no need to worry about old pods.

Performance

Like the original Novo, the performance of the new Novo 2 is decent. The flavor is very good and the coil heads last weeks at a time. The smooth and rounded edges of the Smok Novo 2 make it comfortable to hold even during extended vaping sessions although it can not stand on your table.

Overall, the Novo 2 hits on all the points most vapers are looking for when they decide to shop for a pod system. It’s ultraportable, sleek, decent battery life, attractive appearance, and super easy to use.

If you are a Novo vaper, I highly recommend you switch to the new Novo 2, which will offer familiar vaping experience and function, but last you a whole day. Of course, that will be much better if SMOK is going to provide a service for original Novo user to exchange a Novo 2 for free.
