Best AIO – Wellon Beyond AIO 35W Kit Review

The Beyond AIO 35W kit was sent from Wellon for the purpose of review. Previously I have posted a preview for it, check it here. Now I got the samples, lets check it out how it vapes!

The Beyond AIO is able to fire up to 35 watts powered by single 18650 battery (replaceable, sold separately). It integrates all the features a demanding vaper is expecting from its style, including replaceable 18650 battery, replaceable coils, adjustable airflow, USB C charging port, 2ml pod capacity and most importantly the intelligent chip to avoid burnt taste. The Beyond AIO is made with durable Zinc alloy for the body with a delicate finishing touch.

Design & Building

Basically, this is another Billet box styled AIO kit, but came with a big screen to show your vaping details info. The back cover is removeable with magnetic connections. Open the back cover, you will be able to replace the battery, change the pod/coil, refill the pod and adjust the airflow. Also there is a sleeve for you to check the ejuice level at the back cover.

The airflow intake hole locates at the right botton of the device, next to the USB C charging port. No need to worry your hands will block the air intake while vaping! The charging current is 1A, passthrough supported. Personally I do recommend to charge your batteries in external chargers.

The drip tip is standard 510, you can change it to the one you preferred. And the buttons are very clicky, nicely fitted at the right position!

Overall, the whole kit is solid built, no rattle, no mess at all. The size is compact, feels good at hands.

Basic Operations

The big OLED screen will show all parameters you want, including wattage, puffs, working time, battery level, coil resistance and voltage.

Here are some basic operations, very easy but useful:

• 5 clicks the power button – turn it on/off
• When the device is on, press power button & “+” button together – lock/unlock the wattage adjustment keys
• When the device is on, press power button & “-” button together – reset your puff counts. Puff counts will be auto reset when it reaches 9999
• When the device is on, press “+” button & “-” button together – lock/unlock the fire button

The Pod/Coil

The pod is very clear, you can check the juice level with a glance. The connection part is spring loaded, so it is very easy to replace a new pod there.

The airflow control ring is also easy to operate, not too tight to rotate. To change a coil, as there is no screw there, you need to pull the coil out with the airflow base. My suggestion here is – do not pull it out directly as it will be not easy, but rotate the airflow ring to the end side and screw the base, then you can get the coil out easily!

To fill the pod, simple open the silicone plug. The filling hole is big enough to all kinds of juice bottles.

The main cons for some users is that the top hole of the pod is not centered with the coil top hole. I have contacted Wellon for this case, they explained that they did that on purpose to avoid some potential split backs, but that never blocks the airflow or affects your vaping experience.

The coil came with the kit is a 0.3ohm SS316 mesh coil, best for 25-35W. With this SS316 coil, the kit will be able to protect it without any dry hits. I will show more details about this part in next topic.

Performance

I have used it for 3 weeks before this review. Overall, I am very happy with the Beyond AIO, it has been my first choice among my collections. I will definitely buy more coils in future.

The flavor is the best! I vaped it at 33W, airflow 70% opened. This kit delivered dominant flavor, just enjoy it! While for the vapor production, it also did not let me down.

The coil life is also amazing, I got 7 coils but just used 2 of them in 3 weeks. While for the air intake, it’s super smooth , as it is from the botton of the device, your hands will never block it when vaping.

Another amazing feature of the device is the anti-dry hit feature. When the juice all gone, the device will stop working and show “NO LIQUID” in the screen to remind you to fill the pod. It is a great feature – no more dry hits and also protects the coils.

Beyond AIO VS DotAIO

For the comparison of Beyond AIO and DotAIO, I have listed some differences below. Personally, I do love the DotAIO very much but it is not an affordable kit for everyone, so I will recommend the Beyond AIO as its performance is able to match that of DotAIO while the price is affordable.
