Hellvape Grimm Kit Review – Another Best MTL AIO

The Hellvape GRIMM 30W Kit is the resulting efforts of collaboration between Hellvape, Grimm Green, and Ohm Boy. As an experienced vape reviewer, I believe Grimm Green knows his stuff and how to make a great device. The Grimm kit was sent from HealthCabin for this review.

Design & Quality

For the appearance, my first thought was another Orion styled AIO kit, actually it is. Though there are 8 colors, I am not a big fan of any color. Except that, there are something else attract my attention, it is very light in weight and no magnets in connection part, the filling method is also cool.

This pod is built very well and feels like a good construction. It’s not too big or too small. So, it can be easily handled by everyone. And there are no shape edges, all rounded.

The Device

The Grimm device came with a 1200mAh built-in rechargeable battery, which is a good capacity for this kind of products. And it offers variable wattage 5-30W. Its max wattage output is 30W but the max you should use it at is 22-23W with the 0.7ohm coils (22W is the recommended wattage). With the 1.2ohm coils the recommended power output is 12W. But you can go up to 30W with a RBA coil. Unfortunately, I did not get RBA coil, so I will not talk about it in this review.

The Hellvape Grimm kit has an OLED Display showing all the info you need (resistance, power/voltage output, number of puffs, battery etc…)

Here are some operations:

• Reset the puff counter – click the power button 4 times, then long-press it for 2s.
• Change the orientation of the screen – long press the + and – buttons for 2s.
• Working mode change (Wattage/Voltage) – click the fire button 3 times
• Turn off the screen and lock the + and – buttons (stealth mode + lock), long-press the – and fire button simultaneously.
• Lock the + and – buttons, long-press the + and fire button simultaneously.

Coils & Pod

The plastic pod is able to fill 3ml ejuice, which is enough for me to vape it whole day long. While the pod is pretty dark, you may have trouble to view the juice level in some cases.

Filling the pod is super easy with the flip design.

The drip tip is not replaceable, the round tip feels good to vape with it.

There are 2 coils came with the kit: 0.7ohm H3-01 Mesh Coil (Best for 22W) and 1.2ohm H3-02 Regular Coil (best for 12W). Hellvape gave both coils a AFC base.

It is said that some other branded coils are also compatible with the Grimm kit, like Aspire BVC coils, Altery HP coils. I did not test them, so I cannot guarantee they are compatible or work well on Grimm kit.

Performance

First of first, I am very happy with the battery life, it is able to support my whole day vaping with 1 charge. And the charging time is about 60 minutes.

The most impressive performance is its MTL performance. It delivers the best MTL vaping experience. The flavor is top notch, while the vapor production is also not bad.

Both coils should be able to work at least 7 days or more, until now, I just tested them a week, I will keep it updated later.
