The XTRA is Vaporesso’s latest pod system, which is a small and compact device with an unique anti-skid fabric panel. The XTRA came with two replaceable pods with upgraded cotton material. The appearance is pretty attractive for me, lets see how it vapes in today’s review. The XTRA was sent from HeavenGifts for the purpose of review, but my review will be honest as usual.

In the Box

Design & Quality

The Vaporesso XTRA surprised me with its asymmetrical rounded edges and unique fabric material. I love the design. There’s a nice textured feel to running your fingers across the surface of the pod, smoothy transitioning from a slick metallic finish to the silk-like fabric panels. 

The size of the whole kit is also very compact, you can take it every where in your pockets. Though there is a lanyard hole, there was no lanyard came with the package, a bit disappointed.

The Device

XTRA came with a 900mAh built-in battery, which is good enough for 2ml pod. And the battery life is impressive, I have used it for about 10 days now, while I charged it once in 2 days.

There are 3 LED indicators to show you the battery level. And it can be fully charged via the 5V/1A micro USB port in about 50 minutes.

There is a small power button at the very bottom of the device to turn it on/off with 5 clicks. The device is draw activated.

The Pods

There are 2 pods came with the box, both are refillable 2ml pod, while the coils are not replaceable. You can fill it up easily by removing the silicone plug. The pod is pretty clear to let you view the juice level easily.

For the coil wicking meterial, Vaporesso described them as upgraded cotton material, which is able to perform outstandingly in flavor chasing. Smooth airflow enhances the nicotine satisfaction.

Performance

Flavor and vapour production from both pods was really enjoyable.

• I’ve been using the kit for well over 10 days now swapping between the two pods using 0mg 80vg freebase liquid in the 0.8ohm and some 15mg salt 50/50 in the 1.2ohm pod and both are still going strong after several top ups each.
• The 0.8ohm mesh coil drank the juice a bit quicker and obviously produces slightly bigger clouds but flavour from both was well defined with little to no break in.
• Longevity always depends on what you’re vaping, how much and personal vaping habits but I’d imagine these should last just as long as other pods and coils in their range.
• The battery life is very good, only need 1 charge in 2 days.
