The ACE mod was sent from Wellon for the purpose of review, and now I have used it for 3 weeks. The Wellon ACE is a 2-in-1 battery mod, with 400mAh built-in battery, compatible with Juul pods and 510 CBD carts whose diameter is under 11.5mm.

Design & Building

Visually, it is pretty nice, very small in size, I can hold 3 units in one hand. Light weight, but you may see your fingerprints on the cover of the ACE mod.

Many similar mod are able to compatible with Juul pod and CBD carts. What makes Wellon ACE outstanding is there is a hidden switch to change your vaping mode. You can only choose 1 mode: Juul pod or CBD cart.

Operations

The Ace aslo supports variable voltage by clicking the fire button 3 times – 2.0V, 3.4V & 3.8V.

2.0V – This voltage level is specially designed for official Juul pods. You may burn your official Juul pods on 3.4V or 3.8V level. For other Juul compatible pods, you can try 3.4 or 3.8V output, like the Ziip pods & EON pods. Dont use this level to fire your CBD carts, otherwise it may not work or result bad vaping experience.
3.4V & 3.8V – for CBD carts based on your personal idea.

It aslo offers 10 second pre-heat function for CBD oils by clicking fire button 2 times. The pre-heat output voltage is 1.8V, please connect your CBD cart or CBD pods with the mod before pre-heat. Pre-heat will be stopped automatically if the cart/pod is removed or 10 second time out. Reminder: Pre-heat is only for CBD oil, if you’re vaping nicotine salts in your Juul pod, there is no need to pre-heat.

Performance

For Juul pods, its performance is great, I have no plan to buy a new Juul battery if my current one stops working, I will use the ACE to vape the pods. Ace is much cheaper than the Juul device, only $7.9. You can buy 3 units of ACE with the price for 1 Juul device. Why not make the change? The vaping experience is totally the same, and the ACE holds a bigger battery capacity!

For CBD carts, the magnetic adapter is very strong. And there is a window for you to check the oil/juice level. 400mAh battery is enough to power wholeday CBD vaping.
