Design & Quality

To be honest, the main reason that it attracts me to do this review is its appearance, Asvape has rich and successful experience to handle distinctive patterns, like Michael 200W box mod. Now they used the traditional Chinese patterns on the HITA INK, which looks very impressive. Those patterns include Hun Dun, Tao Tie, Qiong QI & Tao Wu, and I love all of them.

Open the box, it did not let me down, the whole device was made well and it feels good at hands. Round buttons are clicky, 0.96 inch TFT screen is big enough to show everything clearly. And the charging port is USB C.

HITA INK Device

The HITA INK mod comes with 1500mAh built-in battery, which is a good capacity for both DL and MTL vaping. The 0.96 inch OLED color screen shows everything clearly. The mod is able to read the coil resistance and adjust the wattage to their suggested level automatically though there is a clear statement on the coil of its suggested wattage range.

Operation is super easy:

5 clicks to turn it on/off

Hold fire button & “-” button to clear puff counter

Hold “+” & “-” button to lock/unlock the whole device – no operation is allowed, fire button also locked.

HITA INK Pod & Coils

The pod and coils are all the same with that of HITA kit, so I will not talk about them in details here. But there is a new coil – 0.3ohm DL coil is only for HITA INK.

Airflow

You can rotate the pod to adjust the airflow, though it is a bit dark inside to check the airflow open/closed level.

Performance

Overall, I am very happy with this little device, it delivered good flavor and decent vapor production from both coils. The battery life is good and able to support a whole day vaping, including the 0.3ohm DL coil.

As for the coil life, both of them are over average, about 5 refills before I noticed there was a flavor drop.

Problem here is the device cannot read the coil resistance correctly. Anyway, it is not a big deal as the overall performance is good enough.

Overall, Asvape HITA INK is a perfect compact device for anyone! The flavor is good, the design is stylish. The battey life and coil life are all over average. For me, it is definitely a better device than the original HITA.
