The Hita kit by Asvape was sent from HealthCbin for the purpose of review.

Design & Quality

My first impression on this kit when I opened the box – is this a 18350 mech kit with a pod cartridge? Then I tried to screw the botton “battery cap”, obviously failed. Have to say this is a weird kit in appearance, but at the same time, we should give Asvape some thumbs up for the innovation. OK, the “mech mod” is just a battery with 1000mAh capacity, all decorations on the battery were just to make it looks like a mech mod, actually they did it.

The connection part between the pod and battery is the same story – magnets, but the one I received is not strong enough like that of VOOPOO Drag X.

Everything arrived perfectly at the right position in the box.

The Device

The Hita device comes with a 1000mAh built-in battery, which cab be charged via the USB C port at the bottom of the device with 5V/1A charging speed. So it may need 60 minutes to get it fully charged. For a USB C device, 1A charging is too slow. And you cannot make it stand while charging as the charging hole is at the bottom, also no pass-through, not a big deal for me.

There is 1 button. Press it 5 times to power on/off the mod, and press it to fire. Adjust your wattage? All the wattage selection is handled by the Reekbox chip inside, and will set itself based on the resistance of your coil.

The fire button will also light up to let you know the battery level. The battery level for Red light should be very low, need to charge it ASAP.

• White – “Low” – 49%
• Red – “Low”

The Pod, Coils & RBA

The whold pod looks like ultem in color, not sure it is ultem or PCTG in that color, same with the replaceable 510 drip tips. The pod holds 3ml e-liquid which is not a bad capacity. There are 2 coils in the box and the RBA coil is also available, need to buy separately.

The pod is very clear to help you view the juice level clearly without taking the pod out of the device. And the big side filling hole matches all kinds of bottles. While you may find it hard to replace the coils – hard to pull the old coil out of the pod. Asvape should improve it – learn more from VOOPOO maybe.

The RBA is a single post deck, building & wicking is very easy for any experienced vapers.

Performace

0.5ohm coil designed for DTL vaping, flavour is pretty good while the vapor production did not meet my expectation. The coil life is over average, I have filled it at least 13 times before I noticed the flavor dropping. I vaped it with 50VG e-liquid.

1.0ohm coil designed for MTL vaping, well this is not as good as 0.5ohm coil in flavor performance. This coil lasted for 10 refills.

RBA coil, I have a good experience with it, satisfied with the flavor and vapor production.

Leaking or condensation? Yes, I believe it is condensation, you may need to clean the pod bottom after vaping.

For me, if I am going to use it wholeday long just with this kit, I have to charge it twice.
