FreeMax Mesh Pro Sub ohm Tank Review

Spread the love

The Mesh Pro sub ohm tank was sent from FreeMax for the purpose of review. Obviously, it is not a new product in the market, I believe it has been released for a year, and many vapers should have used it or are still using it out of its innovative mesh coil design. Frankly, this is my first try of the Mesh Pro, it just surprised me. Lets check the reasons in this review.

Design & Quality

The first thing attracted my attention was the size of the tank, though FreeMax stated it 25mm in diameter, when you put the 6ml bubble glass tank on, you’ll find the max diameter will be around 32mm. That is a big stuff, you may have trouble to choose a box mod to match with it.

I really love the appearance of the metal version, it is much better than resin version or carbon fiber version. The golden color I received was shining.

The whole tank came to me very clean, and it was very smooth/easy to disassemble. The coil swap is a standard screw-to-base design. And it’s got fully adjustable bottom-feed airflow with two large slots measuring 11 mm by 3.5 mm.

Top Filling

The innovative push-to-open top filling design made it extremely easy and effective to fill such a big tank. There is a red dot to remind you where to push. Easy and effective, big pros here.

I also tested the leaking problem from the fill hole by putting the tank in the pockets. The top cap can not be removed easily and lead to leaking.

Coils

Tons of FreeMax coils are compatible with the Mesh Pro tank, including the Fireluke and Fireluke Pro coils. But I do believe people are more willing to use new coils – all about MESH.

How it Vapes?

For a mesh tank, what do you expect most? For me, flavor first! Frankly, both coils came with the tank cannot reach my expectation in flavor, though they did deliver somewhat good flavor. For the cloud, they did bring me big clouds, but not dense cloud.

Fortunately, they did send me extra pack of quad-mesh coil, which surprised me “WOW, this coil delivers excellent flavor!”

So compared to other FreeMax subohm tanks, they do have some space to improve, maybe that’s why they released the Fireluke 2.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Nice design & good quality
  • Easy top fill
  • No leaking
  • Big juice capacity
  • Airflow is smooth

Cons:

  • Did not come with a best coil in the package

Summary

Overall, I would still recommend this sub ohm tank to you, though the best coil was not included in the package box. The design and quality is top level, not to mention the big juice capacity! Meanwhile, as the Mesh Pro has been released for some days, the price in the market now is very good. Search on the Google, you will find you can get it around $16. What a bargain!
