Design and Quality

Visually, the new Cosmo Plus kit follows the design of the original Cosmo kit, same shape but with a bigger size. Though it is bigger than the Cosmo, overall it is still a compact size to carry everywhere.

The surface finish is good and it feels pretty smooth in the hands. The aluminum body is not heavy in weight. Overall, I am happy with the design and quality.

Cosmo Plus Mod

The Cosmo Plus mod came with a 1500mAh built-in battery, which is a bit small capacity for 0.7ohm mesh coil. Compared to the original Cosmo kit, the Cosmo Plus added a 0.69 inch OLED screen, which is able to show you: battery level, working mode, coil resistance and wattage (or voltage). It also offers 3 different working modes: VW, VV and ByPass, personally, VW will be OK for me. Here are some basic operations:

  • 5 clicks the power button – turn it on/off
  • 3 clicks the power button – choose working mode or settings (Vape time: 5-10S, Sleep time: 5-120S)
  • Hold the “+” and “-” buttons together to lock the buttons

The micro USB charging port is right down the OLED screen, the charging current is 5V/1A.

Cosmo Plus Tank/Coil

The new Cosmo Plus tank came with a 2ml tank and a 4ml bubble glass tank. Its smart to add a 4ml tank in the kit as there is a juice killer 0.7ohm mesh coil. The old Cosmo coils are also compatible with the new Cosmo Plus, so it will not cost too much to upgrade your kit.

The 510 drip tip is my favorite, very good for MTL vaping. And they also kept the innovative adjustable airflow system.

Filling is also as easy as usual – remove the top cap you will find the big filling holes.

Performance

As a MTL flavor chaser, I really like the flavor performance of the Cosmo Plus kit, especially the mesh coil.

  • Mesh coil – excellent flavor and decent cloud. But the coil came with the kit was dead in 2 hours of vaping, maybe this is just a single case. So I cannot tell the coil life span here.
  • 1.6ohm regular coil – Flavor is also good, but worse than the mesh coil. For the coil life, I will test it for another few days and update later.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Good flavor for mesh coil
  • Good quality
  • 4ml bubble glass tube
  • Love the drip tip
  • Easy to use

Cons:

  • Mesh coil died too fast…

Summary

Compared to the original Cosmo kit, Vaptio did make the new Cosmo Plus kit shining. I really enjoy the mesh coil flavor performance. It will be a good choice for all starters – easy to use, good flavor, compact size! The price in Vaptio official store is a bit high, I believe there are better prices in the market, just search Vaptio Cosmo Plus on Google.
