Spread the love

Another mod pod kit review – Thelema from Lostvape. Lostvape has been a reputable manufacturer with its DNA chipset box mods, and it boosted the market with Orion series. Lets see the new Thelema’s performance in this review.

Design & Quality

The kit comes packed in a nice clean looking white box with a protective sleeve over it, everything is perfect when the box opened. For the kit itself, it is a combination of leather & zinc alloy, like that of Drag S. It feels very good in the hands out of that leather back panel. The whole kit is about 152g with dimension of 101 x 35.2 x 29.4mm, it is a bit bigger compared to similar kits. There are three operation buttons, 0.96” TFT colour display, USB-C port, and a dark plastic pod.

Overall, the whole kit is good in quality, as for the appearance, I think it is over average during the same products.

The Device

The Thelema battery came with 3000mAh built-in battery, which is one of the biggest battery capacity for this kind of kit and it is able to support me a wholeday vaping with it. Appearance overview from top to bottom, you can see a small window to check eliquid level (too dark to see anything inside though), dual airflow inlet holes at each side of the battery, a clicky fire button, a 0.96 inch TFT color screen, up & down buttons and a USB C charging port.

thelema screen

The 0.96 inch TFT screen is big enough to show all detailed info you want: battery level, coil resistance, wattage, vaping time, puffs and theme colors.

Here are some easy operations:

  • Change theme color: press Fire & Up buttons at the same time
  • Clear puff counter: press Fire & Down buttons at the same time
  • Lock the wattage: press Up & Down buttons at the same time, when locked you cannot change the wattage, but the fire button still works.

Easy right?

The Pod

The connection between the pod & battery is the strong magnets, no need to worry about the pod will come off the battery when it is in your pockets. Back to the pod itself, its capacity is 4ml, just right for me to vape a day. You can fill it easily from the top by opening the rubble seal. Thelema adopts airflow adjustable system, you can adjust the airflow by rotating the ring at the bottom, the coil is screwed on the airflow ring. So for coil changing, you need to pull of the whole coil & airflow ring, then unscrew the dead coil and put a new coil on the airflow ring. Bottom airflow is a big concern for leaking, fortunately it did not happen to me.

Another point I do like is the replaceable 510 drip tip. The kit came with 2 drip tips – one widebore for DL vaping and 1 MTL tip. Unfortunately, I always got e-liquid into my mouth with that MTL tip, so I gave it up with my own a bit longer MTL tip.

The pod is too dark to view your juice level btw.

The Coil

Thelema is able to compatible with Ultra Boost Coils including RBA.

Performance

Up to now, I have tested 2 coils in the kit, both of them are running a good life span.

  • 0.2Ω Ultra Boost M4 Mesh Coil – rated for 40-60W, I set it 55W with airflow 3/4 opened, the vapor production is huge and the flavor is impressive. Same with other mesh coils, this coil is a juice killer, I have to refill after around 80 puffs, and there is a clear flavor drop after 6 refills.
  • 0.3Ω Ultra Boost M1 Mesh Coil – rated for 30-40W, I set it 40W with airflow all opened, the vapor production is also good, flavor is good again. The juice ran longer than the M4 mesh coil and there is a clear flavor drop after 8 refills.

Pro & Cons

Pros:

  • Good battery capacity and life
  • Good juice capacity
  • Adjustable airflow
  • No leak
  • Good flavor
  • Replaceable coil & 510 drip tip
  • Easy to use

Cons:

  • Can’t really check e-liquid level through the window
  • MTL drip tip is a bit short, ejuice came to my mouth

Summary

Overall, Thelema is a not bad choice from silimar products out of its huge battery capacity and coil options. The flavor and vapor production is pretty good.
