Design & Quality

The Space kit comes in a fairly small, high quality cardboard box with the mod in your chosen colour displayed under a clear plastic window. The kit sent in for review has a silver frame with leather panels, several other finishes are available with carbon fiber or resin panels to suit your taste.

For the kit construction or design, I believe you can get the point – very close to that of DOTAIO. Perviously I have reviewed another similar divice: Wellon Beyond AIO 35W Kit, the new Space is able to support 60W at most. So for the design, no need to descibe in details, battery, pod and screen, all are under the back cover. The leather cover feels pretty good in my hands. Overall, no complains for the design & quality, but I dont encourage brands to copy or follow the same design.

The Device

Removing the back cover, you will see the 18650 battery slot, pod slot, a small display screen and 2 adjustment buttons. Personally I hope the screen and buttons to be outside of the cover for easy operations, just like that of Beyond AIO.

The drip tip is a replaceable 510, so that you can change it to your own drip tips. The magnets are strong to hold the covers, no rattle, the cover will not take off when it is in your pockets.

The operation is very easy, just use the adjustment buttons to change the output wattge/voltage.

Pod & Coils

Vapeonly space 60w pod mod

The pod is able to hold 3.5ml eliquid, which is a bit small for me, I need 4.5ml per day, so I will not use it outside of my office or home. The filling port is big enough for almost all kinds of eliquid bottles.

Coil changing is also very easy, pull out the coil base, unscrew the old coil, change a new coil back to the base then push the base back to the pod.

You can also adjust the airflow by rotating the ring on the base.

There are 2 mesh coils came with the kit:

  • 0.4ohm vAir M, best for 25-35W
  • 0.6ohm vAir M1, best for 15-24W
  • 1.2ohm coil did not come with the package.

Performance

For products like Space, you followed other’s design, the performance is very important if you want end users to buy your products. Wellon Beyond AIO did a very good job at flavor, so many customers are willing to buy. Lets see how the Space vapes.

Though the kit is able to support 60W output, both coils in the package cannot reach 60W. So 60W is only for RBA base. I did not receive the RBA section, so no comments here.

  • 0.4ohm vAir M coil: the best wattage for me is 35W, the flavor is good, but no better than that of DOTAIO or Beyond AIO, while the vapor production is impressive, this coil is a good choice for DL vaping;
  • 0.6ohm vAir M1 coil: the best wattage will be 20W for me, flavor performance is the same as 0.4ohm coil.

For the coil life, in my test, each coil is able to last for 2 weeks, of course the coil life span will be afftected by many factors, like the PGVG ratio, puffs.

No leaking problem found during my test. The device will get a bit hot if you have some puffs consecutively, say 10 puffs.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Compact DOTAIO style design
  • Removable 18650 battery
  • Leak free
  • Flavor is good, but no batter than similar products

Cons:

  • Followed design
  • Device will get hot after some consecutive puffs
