Better Than Vinci X? – VOOPOO Navi Pod Mod Review
The NAVI Pod Mod was sent from VOOPOO for the purpose of review. The first impression the Navi pod mod gave to me was – another Vinci X, as it adopts the same PnP coils, same screen display, same GENE AI chip, just a different shape. Is it better than Vinci X? Lets check it out in this review.

Design & Quality
For the design, it is a bit like a combination of DRAG and a pod, or it is a bigger Drag Nano design. One side with glass or resin panel, while another side is with a DRAG styled NAVI logo.
The NAVI 40W Mod Pod is light and compact, measuring just 96mm by 33mm by 18mm. The main body is made from a strong zinc alloy material that feels nice and is rather durable.
The NAVI Mod
The NAVI Mod came with a 1500mAh built-in battery, which is a just enough for me to vape it whole day long. Same with Vinci X, the Navi also came with a 0.96 inch large display to show all parameters, including wattage, puff, vaping time, mode, coil resistance and voltage. Here are some easy operations:
- 5 clicks the power button – turn it on/off
- 3 clicks the power button – switch between auto draw mode and button activated draw
- Hold the “+” and “-” togeter – check puff record
- Hold “+” and power button together – lock/unlock the device
- Hole “-” and power button together – clear the puff
Same with most Voopoo devices you cannot vape while the device is locked, while with the NAVI or VINCI, you are able to use the auto draw mode even the device is locked.
Buttons are well placed and clicky, they respond very well and fired instantly. The battery is able to support around 150 puffs at 30 watt on a full charge. And you can get it fully charged in about 60 minutes via the micro USB charging port.
NAVI Pod
The pod is able to fill 3.8ml juice, which is much bigger than many pods in this size. Filling the pod is simple with a rubber seal that needs to be pulled. The filling hole is pretty big so you will not have any trouble to fill it with larger bottles.
As we know the PnP coils are to be plugged in the bottom of the pod and they are ready to go.
There are 2 large and strong magnets to connects the pod and the mod tightly, no need to worry the pod will come off the mod while it is in your pockets.
The drip tip is a fixed round drip tip, not replaceable. Personally I love the VINCI X drip tip more. This one is too large for me. The pod color is too dark to view the juice level very clearly.
Airflow
Voopoo stated it came with innovative triple airflow system, OK, I did find 3 airflows – There is a fixed airflow which is not adjustable on the side, another not adjustable airflow pin which goes into the pod on the device and one airflow that can be adjustable on the side.
But for a end user, people will not care about how many airflows, just give me my desired airflow or a balance between vapor production and flavor.
So forget about that 2 fixed airflows – Personally I will recommend you to vape it with the adjustable airflow half open to get the best balance between flavor and vapor production.
Performance
Overall, the NAVI performance is very similar to that of VINCI. The flavor is excellent as usual and came with a good vapor production.

Summary
Overall, the new NAVI pod mod is a good kit to get started for any new vapers. But if you’re a Vinci user, I dont recommend you to switch to the new NAVI pod mod, as the performance is amost the same, there is no big improvements here except the adjustable airflow.
